Fourteen arrested in overnight police operations

The police arrested 14 individuals on Wednesday night for various offences, including conspiracy to commit a crime, assault causing grievous bodily harm and illegally residing in the Republic.

A total of 373 vehicles were pulled over and the police checked the drivers and 91 passengers. They also raided 12 establishments.

During traffic inspections, the police reported 134 individuals, of which 25 were for speeding. Five pending cases of traffic offences were also identified and five vehicles were confiscated.
