A Republican Party representative hopeful could be the nightmare choice for the party as it enters into a crucial election cycle.

Whether Ken Paxton, the MAGA-aligned Texas attorney general, receives the Senate nomination is yet to be seen, but it could prove challenging should he secure the majority vote.
