Donald Trump to meet Google, Meta, OpenAI on energy pledge ahead of midterms

The White House has said the so‑called "Ratepayer Protection Pledge," announced by Trump in his State of the Union Address, would see tech firms commit ‌to measures designed ⁠to ⁠ensure the boom in artificial intelligence infrastructure does not translate into higher utility bills for households and small businesses.
