Iran to begin three-day funeral rites for late Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran

The state funeral for Iran’s late supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is set to take place on Wednesday evening in Tehran and will last three days. The 86‑year‑old former leader was killed on Saturday in US-Israeli air strikes. Israel said that any successor to him would be "a target".
