Meta, NewsCorp in AI content licensing deal worth up to $50 million a year

Meta Platforms has agreed a multiyear AI content licensing deal with News Corp, reportedly worth up to $50 million annually. The three-year agreement allows Meta to use US and UK content for artificial-intelligence products and training. Chief executive Robert Thomson confirmed further negotiations are under way.
