IFAB cornered as set piece free-for-all set to continue

March 4 – While the style of football is constantly going through different phases, the laws of the game refuse to move at the pace of the game. After meeting in Cardiff, FIFA and IFAB have confirmed there are no plans to tweak the Laws of the Game despite the growing noise around holding and wrestling at corners.

Scottish FA chief executive Ian Maxwell insisted there is no evidence the issue is escalating.
