High wind watch in place for Los Angeles County for Thursday — gusts may reach 60 mph

Malibu, Western Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area and Eastern Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area are included in a high wind watch issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:05 p.m. The watch is valid for Thursday, March 5 between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “North winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.”
