Dixon Tech, Longcheer form JV to make smartphones, AI PCs, smart devices in India; total initial investment at about Rs 10 cr

Dixon Technologies has finalized its joint venture with Longcheer Intelligence. The new entity, Dixtel Infocomm, will manufacture electronics like smartphones and smartwatches. Dixon will hold a 74% stake, with Longcheer holding 26%. This collaboration aims to boost ODM expertise and localize component production in India. The move follows eased government approvals for investments from bordering countries.
