The September assassination of conservative Christian icon Charlie Kirk probably unleashed more spiritual energy than any event in recent memory.

To our horror, some of that energy felt diabolical.

For instance, according to The Spokesman-Review of Spokane, Washington, Chase and Sarah Gibson, the husband-and-wife owners of Grooveberries Frozen Yogurt in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — just across the state line from Spokane — have received death threats on account of their decision to put Kirk’s image on their frozen yogurt cups.
