UIDAI rolls out student biometric update in one lakh plus schools

The Unique Identification Authority of India has successfully updated biometrics for 1.2 crore school children. This initiative covered over 1 lakh schools. Mandatory biometric updates for children aged 7-15 are now free until October 1, 2025. Children can also visit Aadhaar centres for these updates. This process is crucial for accessing government schemes and examinations.
