CM MK Stalin credits ₹2,000 'surprise' special bonus to vulnerable groups; fishermen and tea farmers included

Following the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam summer kit, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has credited a special fund of ₹2,000 into the bank accounts of over 29 lakh senior citizens and widows, as well as specialized grants for the differently abled. The initiative, which also includes a ₹8,000 fishing ban subsidy and price support for Nilgiris tea farmers, reinforces the state's commitment to inclusive growth.
