Suspect killed, officer injured in police shooting in Pasadena

One person died and an officer was injured after a police shooting in Pasadena on Monday night, March 2.

Police were called around 7:30 p.m. to Sierra Madre Villa Avenue and Del Vina Street, where two people were arguing, according to CBS L.A.

Once officers arrived, at least one officer and one person fired at each other, said city spokesperson Lisa Derderian.

One person, whom Derderian described as a suspect, died at the scene.
