Raising Cane’s ready to open second San Jose restaurant

A second San Jose restaurant location for cult favorite Raising Cane’s will open early Tuesday on North Capitol Avenue in San Jose.

This location will be frying up fresh chicken strips (“fingers” in Cane’s parlance) until after midnight every day — until 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 a.m. the other nights of the week. Breakfast and early lunch will start at 9 a.m. daily.

The grand opening giveaways will include free Cane’s for a year for 20 customers. Entries for that prize will be accepted from 7 to 8 a.m....
