New research finds that baby dinosaurs were the Mesozoic equivalent of Gen X — kicked out of the nest to go play with their friends. A paper published in the Italian Journal of Geosciences found that juvenile dinosaurs, unlike mammals and many of their modern-day counterparts — birds — struck out on their own shortly after hatching, forming groups separate from the adult population. — Read the rest
