US factory activity eases slightly in February: Survey

US manufacturing activity expanded at a slower rate in February, survey data showed Monday, as growth in new orders and production cooled over the month. ISM data showed that factory activity contracted for a 10th straight month in December before finally returning to expansion in January on improvements in new orders and production.
