Indian apparel exporters seek waiver of airport demurrage fees due to Iran-Israel conflict-induced flight disruptions

Apparel exporters have urged the government to waive airport demurrage charges on export cargo due to flight disruptions caused by the West Asian crisis. The Apparel Export Promotion Council highlighted that unforeseen international developments have stranded consignments, leading to undue financial burdens on exporters.
