Multiple people shot near Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger in Long Beach after grand opening

Multiple people were shot in Downtown Long Beach Sunday, March 1, near the grand opening for a new location of late-rapper Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger restaurant.

Just after 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Pine Avenue after a shooting, according to the Long Beach Police Department. Police didn’t specify how many people were shot or hospitalized, or the severity of their injuries.
