Michigan’s LJ Cason suffers season-ending torn ACL

Michigan guard LJ Cason suffered a torn ACL in Friday’s win against Illinois and will now miss the remainder of the season, the team announced on Saturday. One of the best bench pieces in the country, Cason appeared in 28 games for the Wolverines this season and averaged 8.4 points and 2.4 assists per game.

“First and foremost, our hearts hurt for LJ,” Michigan head coach Dusty May said. “You never want to see a young man who has poured so much into this program have something like this happen.
