Paphos police find 36kg cannabis stash

Paphos police on Sunday announced they had found a 36kg cannabis stash after carrying out an operation in collaboration with the drugs squad Ykan.

The drugs were found in a dried up river bed on the Akamas coast after police followed a tip off on February 25. The drugs were found in a sealed plastic package seized by Ykan.

Inside the package were 27 smaller packets each of which contained five pieces of cannabis resin, weighing 36kg in total.
