Israel-Iran war: Gulf airspace closures leave passengers stranded

Apart from Iran and Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan and Bahrain are among those that have stopped flights. This closes off a crucial aviation corridor connecting India to Europe, the US and Africa as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar are key hubs, said travel industry associations and industry insiders. Those employed in the Gulf and visiting home in India and elsewhere in the region are stuck for the foreseeable future, they added.
