Grizzlies signing 40-year-old big man Taj Gibson

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed 40-year-old forward/center Taj Gibson, who will be playing his 17th NBA season with his eighth franchise.

The team confirmed the deal with a post on social media on Thursday night but no terms were disclosed.

His agent, Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports, told ESPN it is a two-year deal. HoopsHype reported the contract is guaranteed for the rest of this season and includes a non-guaranteed $3.8 million salary for 2026-27.
