Unacademy rolls out Rs 50 crore Esop buyback; employees to receive big payouts

Unacademy has initiated a Rs 50 crore Esop buyback, founder Gaurav Munjal said, creating a cash pool for employees despite a lower valuation than the last fundraise. Eight staff will earn over Rs 1 crore, 17 - more than Rs 50 lakh, and 38 - over Rs 10 lakh. Munjal added that the company will contact all employees in the coming weeks to join the buyback.
