72 held after Odisha villagers assault SIR officials who entered from West Bengal by mistake

In Balasore district of Odisha, two officials deployed for electoral roll revision in West Bengal were assaulted by villagers who mistook them for child-lifters after they accidentally entered a border village. Police rescued the pair, registered two cases, and arrested 72 people, with more suspects being traced.
