'Heads must roll': Supreme Court bans NCERT book, calls for deeper probe

The Supreme Court has sharply rebuked an NCERT Class 8 textbook over a chapter addressing judicial corruption, calling its portrayal unacceptable. It has ordered that all copies be withdrawn from circulation without delay and issued contempt notices to NCERT and the concerned education departments.
