Anthropic’s first ‘retired’ AI has a blog

While other AI providers are shutting down older models for good, Anthropic is taking a unique approach: a formal AI “retirement,” complete with a preservation process that keeps older models available for paid users and–most interestingly–an exit interview, during which the retiring model gets to voice its final wishes.
