Unsafe, Dysfunctional Cities Are the Opposite of Compassion

Leftists and progressives gather online every few months to insist on a bizarre thesis: That wanting to keep public transportation systems free from open drug use, indecent exposure or violent threats is a sign that you are, at best, a pathetic wimp, and at worst, a fascist. The latest gathering occurred this week, when X.com users rushed to mock a woman who wrote that her husband was disturbed after seeing a woman urinating on the subway.
