Passengers can now cancel or change air tickets within 48 hours of booking without extra charges, subject to conditions. The DGCA has revised refund norms, also allowing name corrections within 24 hours for direct bookings. Airlines must complete refunds within 14 working days, even for travel agent bookings. Medical emergencies are also addressed.
