Thanu has officially confirmed that the 2016 blockbuster Theri will return to theatres on February 27, 2026. Under the V Creations banner, the re-release aims to fill the void left by the indefinite delay of Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan, which remains entangled in censorship and legal hurdles.
