Bengaluru Weather forecast: Brace for a hotter summer as IMD issues above-normal temperatures from March

Bengaluru and Karnataka are set for a hotter than usual summer. The India Meteorological Department forecasts above-normal temperatures and possible heatwave conditions from March 2026. Summer officially begins March 1. Temperatures will rise through April and May. Coastal regions and north interior Karnataka face the highest risk of intense heat.
