Minor earthquake strikes Paphos overnight

An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck near Paphos late on Wednesday night, the geological survey department said on Thursday.

The earthquake struck at 11.54pm.

Its epicentre was located a kilometre north of the Paphos district village of Nata, which is located east of the town of Paphos, between the town’s airport and the village of Amargeti.
