NCLAT upholds admission of class action lawsuit against Jindal Poly Films

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal has upheld a class action lawsuit against Jindal Poly Films. Minority shareholders had filed the suit claiming Rs 2,500 crore in damages. This ruling could significantly impact minority shareholder rights in India. Other shareholders can now join the lawsuit. The Securities and Exchange Board of India is also investigating Jindal Poly Films.
