Edtech firm Upgrad acquires skilling firm Internshala

UpGrad has acquired a 90% stake in Internshala through a stock deal, valuing the platform at around Rs 100 crore. The firm plans to boost AI-led talent matching, enterprise hiring, and product innovation. The acquisition aims to grow Internshala’s revenue from Rs 45 crore to over Rs 100 crore in 18-24 months.
