'A Minecraft Movie' Was Just Dethroned as 2025's Biggest Hit

The biggest blockbusters of last year were all jockeying to be at the top of the 2025 box office charts, and now there's a new movie in the No. 1 spot—and it's not the one that has a chicken jockey in it. Zootopia 2 has overtaken A Minecraft Movie as the highest grossing domestic release of 2025. 

Zootopia 2, the sequel to Disney's hit animated movie about a sly fox and eager bunny who must work together to crack a criminal conspiracy in an animal city, hit theaters on November 26, 2025.
