WB pulls a Friendship and drops a Mortal Kombat II trailer

The tournament is about to begin. Mortal Kombat II, the follow-up to 2021’s reboot, is nearly ready to leave Outworld and hit theaters. After being bumped from its original October release date to a big-time summer release—perhaps revealing WB’s confidence—the sequel is looking so bright, Johnny Cage has got to wear shades. Speaking of which, Karl Urban’s Cage finally leaves his sad table at Comic Con to join the fray, enter the tournament, and save the Earthrealm from Mortal Kombat Annihilation.
