O’Dowd digs deep to advance

Bishop O’Dowd’s Naas Griffin and Liberty’s Jaiden Miller put on an electrifying show in their Division I semifinal.

Miller ultimately won the individual matchup, outscoring Griffin 38-34, but the O’Dowd star captured the night’s bigger prize.

He and his teammates will play for a championship this weekend after they found another gear in the fourth quarter to pull for an 80-73 victory on their home court in Oakland.
