Dem delivers blunt explanation for walking out of Trump's State of the Union
One of the Democratic lawmakers who walked out of Presdient Donald Trump's State of the Union Address offered her reasoning to The New York Times on Tuesday evening.
Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL) "told me that she left in the middle of Trump’s speech because she 'couldn’t take another minute' of it," reported Michael Gold.
Underwood was one of multiple Democrats to leave the ceremony early, as Trump delivered what appears to be on track for a record-length State of the Union Address.
