Suspect accused
of DUI, assault

A Mill Valley woman was arrested on allegations of intoxicated driving after nearly hitting a Marin County sheriff’s sergeant.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. Monday when sheriff’s deputies were assisting with a medical incident along Shoreline Highway in Mill Valley, sheriff’s Lt. Brennan Collins said. The sergeant dodged the oncoming car, returned to a patrol vehicle and went after the suspect.
