WhatsApp will comply with NCLAT's directions to extend privacy guidelines to advertising-related data: Meta to SC

Tech giant Meta and its subsidiary WhatsApp have agreed to follow tribunal orders on data privacy. The Supreme Court heard appeals against the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal's directions. Meta and WhatsApp agreed to implement the tribunal's privacy and consent guidelines for advertising data by March 16.
