SC directs Lucknow election officer to probe exclusion of 91 displaced residents from voter list

The Supreme Court has ordered the Lucknow district election officer to investigate the exclusion of 91 Akbar Nagar residents from voter lists. These residents lost their homes in a September 2023 demolition. Their names were removed from electoral rolls during the UP Special Intensive Revision process.
