Why God Uses The Hard Moments To Draw Us Closer To Him

I wish I knew why bad things had to happen. Why it feels like we reach a certain point and then fall. Why we’re so happy one second, and the next feel like we’re spiraling down, like there’s nowhere else to go but lower and lower.

I wish I knew how to come to terms with brokenness, how to release pain and find some kind of healing. How to be someone who lets burdens fall off her back and walk with the hope that no matter what happens, she will be okay.

For days when “hard” feels louder than hope.
