Two Pakistani soldiers, five militants killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa clash

Two Pakistani soldiers and five militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district, according to a statement.

Pakistan’s military said on Saturday the clash occurred in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during an intelligence-based operation against Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to the statement, five militants were killed in an exchange of fire as security forces moved to prevent a planned suicide bombing.
