Cade Tyson, Langston Reynolds help Minnesota rout Rutgers
Cade Tyson scored a game-high 27 points and undermanned Minnesota took command late in the first half to earn an 80-61 win over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis.
Tyson hit 10 of 18 from the field and made 7 of 9 from 3-point range while adding 10 rebounds for the Golden Gophers (13-14, 6-10 Big Ten).
Langston Reynolds added 19 points and nine assists, while Bobby Durkin sank four 3-pointers to account for his 12 points.
Isaac Asuma chipped in 11 points and six assists, and Grayson Grove also hit for 11 points.
