UP tragedy: Class 10 student, 15-year-old, dies by suicide over her CBSE Maths paper performance

A 15-year-old Class 10 student in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly died by suicide on Friday evening following severe mental distress over her performance in the CBSE Mathematics exam held on February 17. While the student’s family attempted to counsel her, the overwhelming pressure of the high-stakes examination led to the tragic incident in the Friends Colony area.
