Gorillaz ‘The Mountain, the Moon Cave, and the Sad God’ Movie Release Date, Screenings, and Streaming

Gorillaz have dropped the first look at their upcoming film, titled The Mountain, the Moon Cave, and the Sad God. The short film coincides with the release of the group's upcoming ninth studio album, The Mountain, featuring music by Damon Albarn and artwork by Jamie Hewlett. Its title is derived from three separate tracks on the album, “The Mountain,” “The Moon Cave,” and “The Sad God."

The film, inspired by the world music and Indian classical sound of the upcoming album, draws heavily from Indian and wider South Asian culture.
