UCLA head coach Mick Cronin apologizes, says he needs to try not to ’embarrass our school’

UCLA head coach Mick Cronin spoke with reported and issued an apology for his actions during and after Tuesday’s loss to Michigan State. During the game, Cronin told forward Steven Jamerson II to go to the locker room early after he committed a late-game flagrant foul and then lashed out at a reporter during his postgame press conference.
“I need to do a better job to make sure that I don’t do anything to embarrass our school. For that, I apologize,” Cronin said Friday.
