Police complaints lodged against CEC in Bengal over SIR 'harassment'

Seven individuals have filed complaints against the Chief Electoral Officer in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district. They allege harassment during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. A legislator claims thousands of names, predominantly Muslim, were recommended for deletion to disenfranchise voters.
