India grants interim relief to four Russian ship insurers

India has extended insurance cover for ships arriving at its ports. Four Russian insurance companies, including Soglasie and UGORIA, will now provide protection until March 20. This cover is crucial for vessels transporting valuable cargo like crude oil. Other Russian insurers have permissions extending to 2030 and 2029. UAE-based Sun UW MGA also received a similar extension.
