S.C. Mom Disappears Across State Lines, Found Days Later in a Hospital with Questions Still Unanswered

A South Carolina mom disappeared after traveling to Georgia to attend a church conference, and she reappeared days later in an Atlanta hospital.

Leigh McAlister — a 37-year-old mom and resident of Lexington, S.C. — traveled roughly 200 miles to attend the conference on Friday (February 13), according to a missing persons report loved ones shared on Facebook.

She originally planned to return the following day, but reportedly mentioned that she might remain in Atlanta through Sunday.
