Mamata Banerjee slams PM Modi over 'Swami' prefix for Ramakrishna Paramahansa

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She took offense at his use of the prefix 'Swami' for spiritual leader Ramakrishna Paramahansa. Banerjee stated that the Prime Minister should not invent new titles for Bengal's great figures. She explained that Ramakrishna was revered as 'Thakur', while 'Swami' was a title for his disciples.
