EC asks 22 states, UTs to prepare for next phase of SIR expected in April

The Election Commission has directed 22 states and Union Territories to finalize preparations for a Special Intensive Revision of voter lists. This crucial exercise is slated to commence in April. Once completed nationwide, all states and UTs will be covered. This initiative aims to ensure accurate and updated electoral rolls across the country.
